Safety Nets

Health and Safety regulations require safety nets to be used on many construction sites and in other situations as appropriate. Scanlift sell only the best quality rope nets which are supplied with individual safety certificates. Nets are available ex-stock.

We offer made-to-measure Box Nets for our Type 1311 and 889 grabs and Type SB-SN crane forks. These fit snugly around the grab/forks and are quick and easy to use (see pic below).

In addition we supply flat nets in various sizes.

Fork Lift Yoke

Many of our mechanical grabs are used off fork trucks and telehandlers to transport un-palletized products. A Yoke is required to give a central lifting point between the forks. Scanlift’s Self-Locating Yoke has a SWL of 2500 kg and allows the grab/load to be manually rotated through 90 degrees as required (see above).

Chain Slings and Swivel Hooks

Scanlift grabs can be run off any suitable on-site vehicle with sufficient lifting capacity and our certified 1 metre chain slings (SWL 3200 kg) with ‘D’ ring and latch hook are ideal for this purpose.
