Mechanical Grabs
Scanlift grabs are entirely mechanical - no hydraulic or electrical power is required and maintenance requirements are minimal. When a load is put down a ‘locking’ mechanism automatically holds the grab open ready for the next lift.
All Scanlift grabs can be run off any suitable lifting device or crane including truck cranes, excavators, gantries, fork trucks, telehandlers. A Yoke is available when used off forks.
Some Scanlift grabs are designed to handle a single specific product whereas others can height/width adjust and transport a huge range of items. All are extremely safe and easy to use.
Mechanical grabs grip the load directly and remove the need for a pallet. They offer huge savings in pallet costs on construction sites and merchants' yards.
